I call it Nerd Funk, and I hope you like it. The blog is going to be centered around beat making tips for beginners.
I’ve been working on my style since ’94. I treat every beat like it’s a new experiment in hip hop. I don’t sample and use a lot of synthesizers to come up with an electronica/hip hop fusion.
I love that moment when everything is new and the whole world is up for the taking. That’s what it was like as a beginner for me. I want to help the newbie get to grips with beat making as fast as possible. I’ve learned a lot of tips and techniques that I want to pass on to the next generation.
